Cécile Rousselet
A doctor of comparative literature, Cécile Rousselet specializes in Yiddish and Russian literatures and translates from Yiddish into French. Her dissertation, defended at the Sorbonne Nouvelle, examines female characters confronting history and memory in Yiddish and Russian novels from 1930 to 1980. With Fleur Kuhn-Kennedy she co-edited Les Expressions du collectif dans les écritures juives d'Europe centrale et orientale (Expressions of the Collective in Jewish Writing from Central and Eastern Europe; Presses de l'Inalco, 2018).
