Violette Attal-Lefi
A lawyer at the Paris Bar, Violette Attal-Lefi served as deputy mayor for culture in the 12th arrondissement of Paris. A longtime member of the Cercle Gaston Crémieux and of the Association pour un judaïsme humaniste et laïque (AJHL), she has contributed to Plurielles since its earliest issues, writing on secular Jewish identity, the culture of the Jews of Tunisia, and Jewish cinema.
