Rivon Krygier
Rivon Krygier, born in Brussels in 1957, is the rabbi of the Adath Shalom synagogue in Paris, the first Masorti community in France. He holds a doctorate in religious studies from the Université Paris-Sorbonne (1996) and was the first French-speaking rabbi to graduate from the Schechter Institute of Jewish Studies in Jerusalem. Awarded the prize of the Amitié judéo-chrétienne de France in 2013, he focuses his work on ethics, theology, and interfaith dialogue. His books include À la limite de Dieu. L'énigme de l'omniscience divine et le paradoxe de la liberté humaine dans la pensée juive (At the Limit of God: The Enigma of Divine Omniscience and the Paradox of Human Freedom in Jewish Thought) (Publisud, 1998) and Fondamentalisme et humanisme dans le judaïsme (Fundamentalism and Humanism in Judaism) (In Press, 2023).
