Hubert Hannoun

A philosophy agrégé with a doctorat d'État, Hubert Hannoun served as an inspector for France's Éducation nationale and as director of a teacher-training college before becoming a university professor, teaching the philosophy of education at the universities of Burgundy and Aix-Marseille I. His books include L'Éducation naturelle (Natural Education, PUF, 1983), Les Paris de l'éducation (The Wagers of Education, PUF, 1996), Le Nazisme, fausse éducation, véritable dressage (Nazism: False Education, True Conditioning, Presses du Septentrion, 1997) and Propos philosophiques sur l'éducation (Philosophical Reflections on Education, L'Harmattan, 2002).
