Daniel Lindenberg (died 2018)

A French intellectual historian, professor of political science at Université Paris VIII and a contributor to Esprit, Daniel Lindenberg made his name with the pamphlet Le Rappel à l'ordre. Enquête sur les nouveaux réactionnaires (Call to Order: An Inquiry into the New Reactionaries; Seuil, 2002), which fuelled debate on the French left for two decades. He also published Le marxisme introuvable (Marxism Nowhere to Be Found; Calmann-Lévy, 1975) and, with Joseph Maïla, Le conflit israélo-palestinien (The Israeli-Palestinian Conflict; Desclée de Brouwer, 2001).
